The sharpening steel corrects micro-bends in the cutting edge and realignes the edge betwen uses. With medium-fine surface for quick sharpening. The rod is slightly magnetic and binds metal dust. Highly wear-resistant with 65 HRC hardness. Made in Germany, with hanging ring.
Care instructions:
Only sharpen clean knives. Wash the steel after a couple of uses under runing warm water with mild detergent and a cloth. Using the dishwasher is not recommended as it may affect the anti-corrosion coating.
