How does a slicer with parabolic blade work?
How does a slicer with parabolic blade work? Our new vegetable slicer with parabolic blade in incredibly sharp and so easy to use. Have a look how it works!
For finest slices, thick and thin slices and for julienne
The new parabolic blade gives the vegetable slicer an almost rocking cut. At the outer parts of the blade, where the vegetable peel hits first, the blade is extremely steep and can therefore develop an extreme cutting performance. In the center, however, the blade is only gently rounded and has, unlike conventional V-slicers no gap betwen two individual blades. So the clean cut is not disturbed. Since the blade consists of a single piece of hardened and all around sharpened parabolic blade steel, it not only stays sharp for an extremely long time, but can also be re-sharpened and exchanged.
The parallel inserts without adjustment mechanism also have their purpose. In contrast to adjusting mechanisms, the inserts are always parallel and therefore at the perfect angle to the cutting edge. Thus, each slice is cut evenly thick and not wedge-shaped.
The slicer has 2 reversible inserts and cuts thereby slices in 1 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm thickness as well as strips of 4 x 4 mm.
