This compact, conical strainer is manufactured by Three Snow, the Japanese specialist for high-quality strainers.
The pointed strainer is ideal for broths, soups, and sauces. Its conical shape makes it easy to pour liquids into small containers without spilling. In Japan, this special strainer is primarily used for preparing egg dishes such as chawanmushi, a savoury steamed egg custard, helping to achieve its perfectly smooth, silky texture.
The fine 30-mesh stainless steel wire mesh and precise craftsmanship ensure that even the smallest particles are reliably retained.
The wire mesh is fully enclosed by the frame, making the strainer exceptionally durable as well as easy and hygienic to clean.
The strainer can be hung for convenient storage.

Made entirely from 18/8 stainless steel, dishwasher safe, and manufactured in Japan.
